Humanity is distinctively observed far and wide on every corner and road
in Syria… Jean Hureau describes this during his travel journey to Syria “What a
different world it is where a kindly peasant offers a cucumber, a
pomegranate or a handful of cherries to a stranger he meets by the road
side; where a student goes out of his way quite unasked to put a visitor
back on to the right road… where a smiling waiter in a simple café puts
a rose beside your glass… Jean Hureau adds, how different to are the
splendid museums where the treasures of forgotten civilizations are
displayed…”
Peter Manning describes Syria as being “The Heart of Arabism” and quotes
in the novel US AND THEM “This is exactly what we had been looking for
Traditional Arabic.”Beneath huge Mumluk gateways of black and white
decorated in parts with intricate carving, everything we saw was at
least 500 years old…. Also quotes “Palmyra is a Roman city sitting slap
bang in the middle of the desert. But, as usual in Syria, every site
reveals a new layer of another civilization beneath or around it”.
Things as they happened are
predominantly Syrian… Only recently a publication released by The Syrian
Media Centre of Archeological discoveries has proven human activity in
Syria as far back as one million years ago. Chronology of Different
civilizations in Syria can be viewed in ATLAS TOURS, SYRIA the cultural
outlook of Syria today surpasses any uncertainty travelers may quiz
themselves …
